The Irony of Freedom

Caught between wanting to do 

And doing

I fret

I am flustered

Wanting to be free

From doing

The undone

From thinking

What is needed

And that I might not have

Enough to give

It's all fair game

Of resistance and acceptance

A conflict of interest

Between your work

And play

Freedom is placed in choice

Where walking away is an option

But you don't want to

Freedom is not really free
