Pace It Right (For YOU)

Yesterday I did a ton of work. After dinner - I wanted to go on. It occurred to me that I was still not satisfied, even though I got much more done than I expected. That will always be the case.

So I watched a show and went to bed.

Why didn't I go on?

Because the following day I would need to do it all over again, and the pent up energy would all come out on the page with great momentum.

Productivity is not about killing yourself doing something (though it works for some people). For me, it's about doing things in the right proportion; 80/20. Meaning 80% productivity, 20% letting go and living life.

Without the extra 20% of letting go, the imbalance increases and it all topples over, so that it's a temporary state of getting a lot done which is unsustainable. What is the point of that, a one-hit wonder?
